Orange dessert
Ingredients
Step-by-step preparation
STEP 1
How to make dessert from oranges? To begin, prepare the necessary ingredients according to the list. Cottage cheese is suitable for any fat content. I have 9%. You need heavy cream for whipping, with a fat content of at least 33%. You can replace or supplement oranges with other fruits and berries.
STEP 2
Wash the oranges thoroughly and dry. Using a grater, remove the top layer of zest from the oranges, being careful not to disturb the white, bitter part of the peel.
STEP 3
Peel the orange from the remaining peel. Next, disassemble the orange into segments, removing the films between the segments and the seeds. Or use a knife, and then you don’t need to divide into segments, just cut out the pulp from the films covering it (this is clearly visible in the video). Cut the pulp into pieces.
STEP 4
Add 2 tbsp to cottage cheese. l. powdered sugar and orange zest.
STEP 5
You can simply stir the mass with a spoon or beat the mass with a blender so that it turns out homogeneous and paste-like..
STEP 6
Pour gelatin with cold water and leave to swell for 15 minutes. Then dissolve the gelatin over low heat, but do not bring it to a boil.
STEP 7
Crumble the cookies or grind them in a blender. If you like uneven crumbs, with small pieces of cookies, then it is better to crumble them with your hands. For finely homogeneous crumbs you will need a blender.
STEP 8
Beat cooled heavy cream with cocoa and remaining powdered sugar until fluffy. Without ceasing to beat, pour in the dissolved gelatin. The mass will immediately liquefy a little, but as the dessert cools it will become elastic.
STEP 9
Place 2 tbsp in bowls. l. cottage cheese. Spread some chocolate whipped cream on top. Sprinkle with crushed cookies. Next, you can add another layer of curd mass and whipped cream. Garnish the dessert with orange slices, grated orange zest and mint. Place the dessert in the refrigerator for 15 minutes. Bon appetit!
