Step-by-step preparation
- STEP 1 - How to make crispy onion fries for hot dogs, salads and appetizers? Very simple, first prepare all the necessary ingredients. If you wish, you can additionally take your favorite spices and seasonings. 
- STEP 2 - Peel the onions, then rinse well under cold water, cut into medium pieces with a knife. 
- STEP 3 - Place the chopped onion in a suitable container with a lid, add salt and ground black pepper to taste. 
- STEP 4 - Cover the container with a lid and shake it well so that the onion and spices are evenly mixed, leave the onion covered for 5-10 minutes. 
- STEP 5 - Add flour to the onion, cover with a lid, and shake the container thoroughly again. 
- STEP 6 - Heat a deep fryer, frying pan or saucepan thoroughly with vegetable oil, add the prepared onion, and fry over medium heat for 5-7 minutes until rich golden brown, stirring the onion in the oil occasionally. 
- STEP 7 - Place the fried onions on a paper towel or sieve to remove excess oil. 
- STEP 8 - Place the prepared fried onions in a suitable container and use as an addition to your favorite dishes, fast food, etc. It will be very tasty if you sprinkle such crispy onions on dumplings, boiled potatoes or fried mushrooms. Bon appetit!
