Omelet on water in a frying pan

Ingredients
Step-by-step preparation
STEP 1

How to make an omelette from eggs with water instead of milk in a frying pan? Very simple and easy! To begin, prepare the necessary ingredients according to the list. It is better to use water and eggs at room temperature, because salt does not dissolve well in a cold mixture. Instead of vegetable oil, you can use butter to lubricate the pan. You will find a lot of useful and important information about chicken eggs in the corresponding article. There is a link to it at the end of this recipe.
STEP 2

Break the eggs into a deep bowl. If the eggs are small, take 3 pieces. Depending on the diameter of your frying pan, the omelette will turn out thinner or thicker. If you need a taller omelette, then take a frying pan with a diameter of about 16 cm. I have a frying pan with a diameter of 20 cm.
STEP 3

Pour water into the eggs and add salt. Use finely ground salt. Large crystals may not dissolve well and then crunch on your teeth. Beat everything with a fork or whisk until smooth. There is no need to beat for a long time. It is enough for the white and yolk to combine with water, and for the salt to dissolve.
STEP 4

Heat vegetable oil in a frying pan over medium heat. Pour the egg mixture into the pan. Reduce heat to minimum. Next, fry the omelette under the lid until cooked, or you can carefully turn the omelette over to the other side. To do this, transfer it to a flat plate, and then turn it from the plate into the frying pan. Fry the omelette for about 1 more minute and turn off the heat.
STEP 5

I didn’t turn the omelette, I just covered the pan with a lid and let the omelette cook for about another 3-5 minutes. How to choose a frying pan, read articles on these topics. Link at the end of the recipe.
STEP 6

Transfer the finished omelette to a plate, sprinkle with fresh herbs and serve. Bon appetit!
