No-bake cake with sour cream, banana and cookies
Step-by-step preparation
STEP 1
How to make a no-bake cake with sour cream and banana? Prepare your food. Any cookie is suitable for this recipe - sweet cracker, any shortbread, oatmeal, square cookie with the aroma of baked milk, sugar, the main thing is that it is airy and fragile. Bananas should be ripe, but not too soft. First of all, choose sour cream that is tasty, natural and of high quality, of any fat content.
STEP 2
First of all, prepare the gelatin. I took the fast-acting one. If you have a different one, then use it according to the instructions on the package. Quick gelatin, like mine, pour 125 ml of boiling water. Stir it well until completely dissolved. For now, set the poured gelatin aside and work on the base of the cake.
STEP 3
Crush the cookies into a large bowl with your hands. Make the pieces medium, they will look beautiful when cut.
STEP 4
Wash and dry the bananas. Peel them and cut them into pieces the same size as the cookie pieces. I first cut the banana lengthwise into quarters and then sliced it crosswise.
STEP 5
Place bananas in bowl with cookies.
STEP 6
Prepare sour cream. Place the sour cream in a mixing bowl, add sugar to it. You can also add vanillin or vanilla sugar to taste. Beat the sour cream and sugar with a mixer for a couple of minutes. There is no need for longer, since the goal is not splendor, but only the dissolution of sugar.
STEP 7
Without stopping whisking, pour in hot gelatin in a thin stream.
STEP 8
The cream will immediately become very liquid, this is not scary - it will still harden from the gelatin. Beat the sour cream and gelatin for about another minute.
STEP 9
Pour the resulting cream into the bowl with cookies and bananas. Mix the mixture well with a spoon.
STEP 10
Prepare the form. It is more convenient to use a detachable one, with a diameter of 18-20 cm. It may seem to you that the cake will not fit into such a small mold, but rest assured, it will fit. Cover the pan with cling film to make it easier to remove the cake and prevent liquid cream from leaking out.
STEP 11
Pour the mixture of cookies and sour cream into the mold, smooth the top with a spatula or spoon. Cover the top of the cake with cling film or a plate. Place it in the refrigerator until completely frozen. For at least an hour, I had it all night.
STEP 12
Remove the frozen cake from the mold and remove the film. You can do this without difficulty - the cake will freeze perfectly. Decorate it to your liking - with berries, fruits or grated chocolate. Cut the cake into pieces and serve. Bon appetit!
