the recipe is good, but try making a few changes to it. Replace milk with kefir, and butter and vegetable oil with margarine for baking. You will see that the dough will be much lighter and the Mannik will turn out more fluffy.

Instead of baking powder, I add soda, and soak the semolina in kefir, so I don’t quench the soda with vinegar, but instead of margarine I still put butter, it’s more natural in composition.

Perhaps I’ll bake it as per the recipe and take a photo.

It took about an hour and a half to prepare. My manna browned in the oven after 30 minutes. I added prunes, which “didn’t fit” into the Tigress salad (https://bestrecipes24.com/cooking/6071-tigritsa). It turned out to be a sweet everyday cupcake-pie.

Why is the main photo not the same pie as in the step-by-step photo?

Laurie wrote: why is the main photo not the same pie as in the step-by-step photo? Because this recipe has two authors. And two versions of photographs of the finished dish.
