I was looking on the site for a recipe for something sweet for tea. And I found a Lenten cherry-chocolate muffin, the fresh cherries were just ripe. The composition is surprisingly simple, all products are available. First, I mixed sifted first-grade flour with sugar, high-quality cocoa, and baking powder. I added a pinch of salt to enhance the flavor and vanilla on the tip of a knife instead of vanilla sugar. I mixed everything with a whisk, it’s convenient. Added odorless vegetable oil and filtered water. The dough turned out like thick sour cream with a delicious chocolate aroma. I washed the fresh cherries and dried them well so that there was no excess moisture. Then she removed the bones with a special device. I decided to roll it not in flour, but in potato starch. It stuck to the cherries perfectly. The cherries were mixed into the dough quickly but carefully. I baked the cake in a rectangular pan for 40 minutes. The smell of chocolate is amazing! Like any Lenten baked goods, the cake turned out very juicy, quite moist and tender! It is porous, but not light. The cherries fit perfectly into the crumb of the pie. The chocolate cupcake is very tasty, I recommend you try it!
