Juicy chicken breasts in a frying pan
Ingredients
Step-by-step preparation
STEP 1
How to fry juicy chicken breasts in a frying pan? Prepare the necessary ingredients. It's better to use chicken breast fillet, as I often do, but you can also use bone-in breast. It's better if it's chilled, but frozen will do. You will learn how to defrost correctly by reading an article on this topic. The link is at the end of this recipe. All my spices and seasonings are dried, but if you wish, you can use fresh dill and garlic.
STEP 2
I cut the breast out of a whole chicken. If you did the same, it is advisable to remove the bones and skin from the breast. But do not throw away these parts. The bones are great for making broth, and the skin can be used to make crispy chips.
STEP 3
Cut the fillet lengthwise into 2-3 pieces. Of course, you will cut into 2 or 3 parts depending on the size of the chicken, but make sure that the pieces are not too thin, otherwise the breast will not be juicy, but rather dry.
STEP 4
Wash and dry the chicken pieces. Lightly beat them with a hammer on one side. Just a little, don’t overdo it!
STEP 5
Do not salt the chicken before frying. Salt draws liquid out of meat and fish, and if you salt them at the very beginning, they will be a little dry in the finished dish. Add salt at the very end of cooking. Sprinkle with paprika. Do not skimp on paprika: it does not have a pronounced taste, but it will add brightness to the finished dish.
STEP 6
Pepper, sprinkle with garlic powder and dried dill. Leave for literally 5 minutes so that the meat has time to soak in the spices. You can use any spices to suit your taste.
STEP 7
Heat the vegetable oil well in a frying pan, place the breasts and fry for 5-7 minutes on each side over low heat. If you have a grill pan or a frying pan with a non-stick coating, then it is quite possible to fry the breasts without using oil, which is certainly healthier. How To choose a frying pan and oil for frying, read the articles on these topics at the end of this recipe.
STEP 8
You may need to turn the breasts a couple of times. At the very end, salt the fried breasts, reduce the heat to low and cover with a lid. Leave for 7 minutes, then remove from heat.
STEP 9
Delicious fried breasts prepared according to this recipe turn out to be very tender, which is, in principle, rare for this part of the chicken. For many housewives it is often a little dry. Serve the juicy and soft breasts right away while they are hot. Bon appetit!
