Homemade milk jelly with gelatin
Step-by-step preparation
STEP 1
How to make milk jelly with gelatin at home? Prepare your ingredients. Pour gelatin powder into a bowl or metal cup, cover with cold boiled water and leave for half an hour to swell. Gelatin comes in sheet, granular and powder form. And each type of gelatin requires different preparation and cooking times, so depending on the type of gelatin you choose, follow the instructions on the package.
STEP 2
After the specified time, place the bowl with gelatin on the fire. Dissolve the gelatin over low heat with constant stirring; the mixture should become homogeneous, without gelatin crystals in the liquid. But do not let the mixture boil so that the gelatin does not lose its gelling properties.
STEP 3
Pour milk into another metal bowl (you can use any fat content you want and taste), put it on the fire, add sugar and bring to a boil, stirring constantly. Turn off the heat, pour in the jelly mixture and mix well.
STEP 4
Let the mixture cool slightly and add a pinch of vanillin to improve the taste of the dessert.
STEP 5
Pour the mixture into molds or bowls. Cool the milk-jelly mixture at room temperature and put it in the refrigerator for a couple of hours to harden the jelly.
STEP 6
Homemade milk jelly is ready. Serve it to the table in bowls or put it in saucers, after dipping the molds in hot water for a couple of minutes. Garnish the jelly with fresh berries or pour over coffee syrup. Bon appetit!
