STEP 1
How to make homemade cognac from alcohol? Prepare your food. To begin, rinse the oak bark under cold running water and discard in a colander.

Now prepare the spices. You will need coriander, cinnamon and nutmeg. Everything is in a crushed state. You need very little seasoning, literally on the tip of a knife. If you have whole coriander seeds, it’s okay, it will be more fragrant. Simply crush the seeds with the back of a spoon or in a special mortar. You will also need two fragrant cloves. Leave them whole.

Next, I want to note that for this recipe you need to take 48 degrees alcohol. If you don’t have one at hand, feel free to replace it with good, proven vodka. I have this alcohol, and I treasure it like the apple of my eye, only for special occasions. So, pour the alcohol into a clean, dry container. It is desirable that it be glass.
STEP 4
Add all the spices to the container. Send the previously prepared oak bark there.
STEP 5
And the last step is to add granulated sugar.
STEP 6
Stir the resulting drink thoroughly until the sugar grains are completely dissolved. If desired, you can caramelize the sugar in a frying pan. Then your cognac will acquire pleasant caramel notes. This completes the cooking process. All that remains is to put the future cognac in a dark place at room temperature, where no one will find it until ten days have passed. You can't go into the basement. You can't put it in the refrigerator.
