STEP 1
How to make coconut milk ice cream at home? Prepare all the necessary ingredients. Take heavy cream, at least 33% fat. You can use coconut flakes if you wish.
STEP 2
Pour coconut milk into a thick-bottomed saucepan, add sugar and yolks, mix everything. At first, the color of the cream will be grayish. STEP 3
Place the saucepan over low heat or in a water bath. With constant stirring, cook the cream until thickened, about 10-15 minutes. The exact time depends on the selected saucepan and the operating characteristics of your stove.
STEP 4
Remove the finished coconut custard from the heat, cover with cling film "in contact" and cool. To speed up the process, you can place the saucepan in a container with cold water.
STEP 5

STEP 6
Pour the cooled coconut custard into the whipped cream. Mix everything thoroughly until smooth.
STEP 7
If desired, add coconut flakes and mix everything again.
STEP 8
Transfer the mixture into a deep container and place in the freezer. If possible, stir the ice cream thoroughly every 30 minutes. Thanks to this, ice crystals will not appear in it. The output is about 800 grams of ice cream.
STEP 9
