Herring pate

Amazingly delicious and very simple! Pamper your loved ones! I have loved this culinary recipe for herring pate or butter with the taste of red caviar since childhood. Mom cooked it for us for the holidays, but sometimes we persuaded her to cook this delicious food just like that. You can make a sandwich with herring butter for breakfast on a weekday or prepare canapés for a holiday table. Once you make this “Red Caviar” you will love this dish and it will be a great addition to your collection of recipes. It can also be used to make sandwich cakes or layered "striped" sandwiches.

I prepared herring pate according to this recipe. I took frozen herring and first defrosted it in the refrigerator. I took cream cheese processed cheese, I bought high-quality butter with a high fat content. I boiled the carrots in advance and cooled them. I boiled carrots without peels in salted water so as not to peel them later. I cleaned the herring from the insides, cut off the head, peeled it off and selected large bones. I cut all the products into large pieces. I ground the pate with an immersion blender to get a more uniform consistency. It's simple and fast! The pate turned out wonderful! It is very tasty, tender and spreads well on bread. There is a herring taste, but not pronounced. The carrots gave the spread a beautiful hue. I liked eating herring pate at room temperature, not from the refrigerator. The recipe is great! I recommend everyone to cook! Thanks to the author)

I made herring pate for sandwiches. I boiled the carrots the day before. Peeled the herring, cut it into fillets, and removed large bones. Cooled the butter and melted cheese in the freezer. I passed all the ingredients through a meat grinder and mixed well. Dried slices of bran bread in a dry frying pan. The sandwiches turned out delicious, moderately salty, with a slight sweetness from the carrots. Thanks to the author for the recipe!
