Be sure to look at the composition of the sausages on the packaging: there should be no additives of category E, monosodium glutamate, or ingredients unfamiliar to you.

    If you have sausages in a cellophane wrapper, simply remove it, being careful not to damage the product itself. If the sausages are in a natural casing, then you don’t have to peel them, but you must wash and dry them.

    Make several diagonal cuts on both sides of each sausage. The cuts should not be deep - literally 1-2 mm. This procedure will help prevent the sausages from becoming deformed during cooking. They will remain smooth and beautiful.

    Light the wood in the grill, wait until it burns completely and turns into hot coals. Pay special attention to firewood. If you are going to cook something over coals, then the firewood should be from clean, aromatic trees (preferably, of course, birch firewood). Boards from an old fence are not suitable for this purpose. It is also quite possible to use ready-made factory-produced coals. You just need to heat them up well!

    Wait until the intense heat from the coals has gone away, otherwise the sausages will burn very quickly. Place a grill grate on the grill and distribute the sausages on it. Fry for no more than 1 minute on each side, turning very often. But still, the sausages must be fried inside, and not just get a golden crust, so control this process. Perhaps an electronic thermometer will help you.

At family picnics, while the adults are grilling their kebabs, the children always ask to fry the sausages. Therefore, I bought quality sausages in advance to cook sausages on the grill. True, our grill was busy and we fried them on skewers. While the coals were burning, I removed the casing from the sausages and made cuts on one side. We fried them over hot coals, waiting for the main heat and smoke to subside. The sausages were covered with a delicious, golden brown crust! And what a smoky aroma they have! The children devoured them hot on both cheeks)
