  1. STEP 1

    STEP 1

How to grill corn? Prepare the ingredients according to the list, they are minimal, and they are available, and during the corn harvest season, this dish can be made more often. Moreover, it is very simple and quick to prepare, even a novice cook can handle it. At home, corn can be grilled in the oven, in a microwave oven with the appropriate functions, or simply fried in a grill pan.

  2. STEP 2

    STEP 2

Corn should be used at milky ripeness, when the grains are not yet fully formed, tender and juicy. The cobs of this corn are dark green in color and have tightly adjacent foliage. It doesn't have to be peeled. Remove the top leaves from the cobs, leaving only a single layer of leaves surrounding the cob itself.

  3. STEP 3

    STEP 3

Carefully open the cobs and remove the fibers, but do not tear off the leaves, but cover the cobs with them again. Before grilling, it is better to soak the corn in salted water so that it does not start to burn, but cooks evenly. But this applies to an outdoor grill with an open fire. To cook corn at home, you don't have to do this.

  4. STEP 4

    STEP 4

Place the corn on the grill and microwave. Remember to use a special rack made of microwave-safe material. Set the maximum power or turn on the “grill” program and the time is 5 minutes. Remember that the time and power are approximate, use your microwave as a guide. Read more about this in a separate article at the link at the end of the recipe.

  5. STEP 5

    STEP 5

After the specified time, turn the corn over and microwave for another 2-3 minutes. Then remove the corn from the microwave along with the rack. This must be done carefully so as not to get burned. Open the leaves on the ears of corn without tearing them off completely.

  6. STEP 6

    STEP 6

Sprinkle the corn kernels with salt and ground black pepper, and add small pieces of butter. If desired, seasonings and spices can be replaced with others to taste. Those who like it spicier can sprinkle the corn with garlic passed through a press and sprinkle with olive oil instead of butter. For sweet corn lovers, you can use honey instead of salt and pepper.

  7. STEP 7

    STEP 7

Close the leaves on the corn cobs and return to the grill for another 2 minutes. The dish is ready. Serve it to the table. Bon appetit!
