Fried flatbreads with parsley and sorrel

Here are all the necessary ingredients

Mix flour with salt
STEP 3

Add water and knead the dough, knead for 10 minutes
STEP 4

The finished dough is quite stiff
STEP 5

We put the dough in a bag or cover it with a damp towel and work on the filling, during this time the gluten in the flour will swell and the dough will become more elastic
STEP 6

Finely chop dill, parsley, sorrel or any other greens
STEP 7

Chop green onions
STEP 8

Mix all the greens well
STEP 9

And for the filling we will need a little vegetable oil, suneli hops, black pepper and salt
STEP 10

Divide the dough into approximately 7 equal parts
STEP 11

Roll it out very thin! In the original recipe, the dough actually glowed. Unfortunately, I couldn’t do it so thinly - the youngest really wanted to help... But there is no limit to perfection and next time I’ll roll it out even thinner

Place greens on prepared base
STEP 13

We salt and pepper it right on the dough, otherwise the greens will give juice, and we don’t need that. Add suneli hops and a little vegetable oil on the tip of a knife
STEP 14

We fasten the edges well like a big pie
STEP 15

Turn the seam side down and make the rest of the cakes in the same way.
STEP 16

Fry in a dry frying pan until done, turn several times
STEP 17
