Fresh dill in jars

Ingredients
Step-by-step preparation
STEP 1

How to make fresh dill for the winter in jars? For this we only need fresh dill. During the season, I always sow dill for fresh herbs in order to prepare enough for the winter. Fresh dill is suitable for harvesting while it is still young and has not begun to bloom. After flowering begins, dill becomes tougher. But you shouldn’t take very young, immature greens.
STEP 2

In order to prepare fresh dill in jars, pick the required amount of fresh young dill and prepare the jars themselves. I like to use small jars so that when I open them I can use all the dill at once. Wash the selected jars well and dry until completely dry.
STEP 3

Rinse the dill, pat dry with paper towels and leave to dry completely. Not a drop of water will remain on the dill for long.
STEP 4

Cut off the stems of the dill.
STEP 5

Divide the dill into all the jars and close the lids tightly.
STEP 6

Place all jars filled with dill in the refrigerator for storage.
STEP 7

If necessary, it is very convenient to open a jar of fresh dill, chop it and immediately add it to any dish. For example, in a salad! Enjoy your meal!
