STEP 1

How to bake eggs in tomatoes in the oven? To begin, prepare the necessary ingredients according to the list. To make scrambled eggs not only tasty, but also beautiful, it is better to use country eggs with a large, rich yellow yolk. Be sure to take fresh eggs. You can replace butter with vegetable oil. You can also add ham, sausage, cheese, fried champignons, etc. to the egg according to your taste.

Melt the butter first and cool it.

Wash the green onions and cut into rings.

Wash the dill, dry and finely chop. If you wish, you can replace or supplement with other herbs, such as cilantro, or use a mixture of different herbs.

Wash the tomatoes and dry them. Cut off the tops and carefully, being careful not to damage the walls, remove all the pulp. This can be done with a regular teaspoon or a special noisette spoon. Choose tomatoes that are even, juicy, but dense and strong. Soft fruits do not hold their shape well; during preparation and cooking, they will spread into a shapeless mass and ruin the appearance of the dish.
STEP 6

Brush the inside of each tomato with melted butter using a brush. Then add salt and pepper. It is important to calculate in advance so that the size of the egg matches the size of the tomatoes.
STEP 7

Gently crack an egg into each tomato, trying to keep the yolk intact. Lightly salt and pepper on top of the eggs. I made another one of these tomatoes in the process. Transfer the tomatoes to a baking dish greased with the remaining butter and place in an oven preheated to 180°C for 20-25 minutes. The exact time depends on your oven and the degree of doneness you want your eggs to cook.
STEP 8

Sprinkle hot scrambled eggs in tomatoes with chopped dill and green onions and serve immediately. Bon appetit!
