Duck stewed in plum sauce
Step-by-step preparation
STEP 1
At the beginning of cooking, you need to prepare the ingredients. Remove the core from the onion and cut into half rings

Cut the duck into middle parts
STEP 3
Rinse the plums, remove the pits, and place in a blender. Also add basil, salt, ground pepper, sugar to the blender and grind everything

Heat the cauldron on a gas stove and place the duck pieces with the fatty side facing the cast iron. Fry the duck until slightly browned on both sides. Pepper and salt. After this, put it in a separate bowl.

Pour the onion into a casserole and fry until golden brown over low heat. Salt and pepper, stirring

After frying the onions, add the fried duck. Stir, salt and pepper. Simmer together for three minutes
STEP 7
Reduce heat to low. And pour everything with the sauce prepared in a blender
STEP 8
Add water. Mix. Boil over low heat for about 20 minutes, taste for spices, if you miss some seasonings, it’s not too late to add them. Mix. Then reduce the heat to low and simmer for another thirty minutes.
STEP 9
After the specified time, the dish will be ready!
