  1. STEP 1

    STEP 1

How to make dough with dry yeast and milk? Prepare all ingredients. This dough is kneaded without dough, very quickly, for 5 minutes. And then the dough will rise for another hour, after which you can start making pies. Adjust salt and sugar to your taste. This dough can be used to make pies for frying in vegetable oil and for baking in the oven, and if you add more sugar, you will get buns.

  2. STEP 2

    STEP 2

Heat the milk until warm (approximately 30 degrees) and pour into a bowl for kneading the dough. Next, beat in the chicken egg and mix gently with a whisk, without beating the milk mass too much.

  3. STEP 3

    STEP 3

Then add granulated sugar and yeast. Stir until the ingredients dissolve and there are no grains or lumps left.

  4. STEP 4

    STEP 4

Then add refined sunflower oil and knead until smooth.

  5. STEP 5

    STEP 5

Add salt and gradually add flour sifted through a sieve, first kneading the dough with a spoon and then by hand. Add flour until the dough becomes soft and comes together. In this case, the dough may stick a little to the work surface, there is nothing to worry about, since a large amount of flour will “clog” the dough and will not allow you to make fluffy pies from the resulting dough. Adjust the amount of flour according to the consistency of the dough!

  6. STEP 6

    STEP 6

Place the bowl with the dough in a warm place, cover with a clean towel, and leave for 40-60 minutes. After this time, the dough should rise to approximately double in size. Sprinkle a little flour and knead the dough to release excess carbon dioxide. And then we pinch off a piece of dough, roll out the flatbread, lay out the filling and form a pie. Place the molded pies on a baking sheet and give them another 15-20 minutes to proof, after which we bake or fry.

The recipe is good, the dough turned out soft and pliable. I know another proven recipe for yeast dough using dry yeast and water. Also an excellent result.

For the first time I made dough with dry yeast in milk for pies and it’s just the bomb 💣 It’s soft, tasty and tender. For salt and sugar, I added half a tablespoon of sugar and a tablespoon of salt. I didn’t have a lot of flour, but I didn’t measure it by grams, it only came out. But definitely less than 500 grams. I also know from experience that you need to look at the consistency. I added flour to the level I needed. Overall everything turned out great. Mom said it was fire 🔥 And my husband liked it. I made pies with sauerkraut and stewed cabbage.

For the first time in a long winter, the sun came out. In honor of this small but very pleasant event, I wanted to bake something tasty, cozy and sunny. I used this recipe for dough with dry yeast and milk for pies as a basis. I decided to make buns in the shape of suns from this dough. I added more sugar, 2 tablespoons. I used 470 grams of flour. The dough was still sticky. To avoid filling it with flour, I kneaded it with hands greased with vegetable oil. After an hour of “rest,” the dough was no longer sticky and had doubled in size. It is tender, soft, pliable. I divided the dough into 8 parts, approximately 95 grams each. I rolled each one into a bun and made “rays” along the edge with a knife. I left the pieces to proof for 15 minutes, then brushed them with beaten egg and sprinkled them with sugar. I baked the buns at 180 degrees for 20 minutes. The buns turned out airy, tender, very soft, fluffy. And, of course, delicious. I really liked the recipe for this dough. Thanks a lot!
