    STEP 1

How to knead yeast dough with raw yeast and milk? Prepare the necessary ingredients. Yeast is usually sold in briquettes of 100 grams. Cut off the required amount of yeast and break it into small pieces. Sift premium or first grade flour through a sieve a couple of times to saturate it with oxygen. Thanks to this, the finished products from such dough will be very airy. The milk must be heated until warm.

  2. STEP 2

    STEP 2

Make a dough. To do this, pour some warm milk into a small bowl and add yeast. Then add sugar. Please note that the milk should be warm, but not scalding. In hot milk the yeast will die, but in cold milk it will not activate.

  3. STEP 3

    STEP 3

Add a couple of tablespoons of flour from the total amount.

  4. STEP 4

    STEP 4

Mix everything and leave to stand for 10-15 minutes. The yeast will dissolve well in the dough and the fermentation process will begin. You will see this by the bubbles that appear.

  5. STEP 5

    STEP 5

Melt the butter in the microwave or in a water bath. Read how to do this correctly at the end of the recipe.

  6. STEP 6

    STEP 6

Pour the finished dough into the bowl in which you will knead the dough. Add the remaining warm milk, eggs and cooled melted butter.

  7. STEP 7

    STEP 7

Start kneading the dough and gradually add flour. Kneading can be done with a spoon, hands or a mixer using a special dough hook attachment.

  8. STEP 8

    STEP 8

Gradually the dough will become thicker.

  9. STEP 9

    STEP 9

Knead the dough until it almost stops sticking to your hands. The amount of flour in the recipe is approximate. It may take a little more or less. Be guided by the consistency of the finished dough. Place the dough in a warm place and cover with a towel. Leave it to approach for 1-1.5 hours.

  10. STEP 10

    STEP 10

The dough is very soft and airy, so it rises quite quickly. But it does not tolerate drafts. So when working with yeast dough, all windows in the kitchen should be closed.

  11. STEP 11

    STEP 11

You can use this dough to make pies with any filling. Bon appetit!

I found a good dough recipe by searching by ingredients, which is very convenient. I decided to make dough with raw yeast to make focaccia with curd and cheese filling. First I made a dough using fresh yeast, it’s quite quick and easy. I left the dough in a warm place for 15 minutes and it became covered with bubbles, which means the yeast was activated. I used homemade eggs for the dough. I kneaded it into a soft and elastic dough and put it in a warm place for an hour and a half. The dough worked well, it turned out soft and airy. It is very pleasant to work with such a test. The risen dough rolled out well and rose perfectly during baking. The yeast dough made with milk turned out very tasty. An excellent recipe for homemade baking dough. I'm putting it in my piggy bank. Thank you!
