STEP 1

Add flour, sugar, eggs, soda and salt to a deep bowl. Mix everything thoroughly to form a thick liquid dough. Wash the apples, remove the core, cut into thin slices. Grease the mold with vegetable oil to the edges, arrange apples to taste and fill with batter. Place in the oven preheated to 150 degrees.
STEP 2

Bake until golden brown. Test the dough the old way - with a toothpick. The dough should not remain on the toothpick. Remove from oven. Let the charlotte cool slightly so that it can easily come away from the mold. Place the charlotte on a plate, turning the golden crust down. Despite the simplicity and ease of preparation, it always turns out delicious. I don’t know if this affects the result, but I first beat the eggs and sugar well, then gradually add flour, sprinkle baking soda on the flour, and beat everything well.
