    To prepare the curry sauce you will need a sour apple, onions, salt, curry powder, garlic, some fresh ginger and chicken broth. Let's start cooking. Cut the onion into small cubes, grate the garlic on a fine grater or finely chop it with a knife.

    Fry the onion in butter over low heat until transparent. Add garlic and fry for about two more minutes. Peel the apple from the skin and seeds and grate it on a coarse grater. Add to the onion and simmer for 3-4 minutes.

    Add salt, curry powder and finely grated ginger. If desired, you can add some red hot pepper and turmeric. Stir and fry for 1 minute.

    Add broth and simmer over low heat for about 20 minutes. Chicken broth can be replaced with vegetable broth. A wonderful homemade curry sauce recipe that surprised me with the combination of onion and apple. Everything was according to the recipe - I stewed the apple and onion, added spices, and pureed it with a blender. I didn’t add any hot pepper, but it was a shame, it wouldn’t have hurt a little here. It goes well with both meat and potatoes, I recommend it.
