STEP 1

To prepare the curry sauce you will need a sour apple, onions, salt, curry powder, garlic, some fresh ginger and chicken broth. Let's start cooking. Cut the onion into small cubes, grate the garlic on a fine grater or finely chop it with a knife.
STEP 2

Fry the onion in butter over low heat until transparent. Add garlic and fry for about two more minutes. Peel the apple from the skin and seeds and grate it on a coarse grater. Add to the onion and simmer for 3-4 minutes.
STEP 3

Add salt, curry powder and finely grated ginger. If desired, you can add some red hot pepper and turmeric. Stir and fry for 1 minute.
STEP 4

Add broth and simmer over low heat for about 20 minutes. Chicken broth can be replaced with vegetable broth. Chicken is a frequent guest on our table, I cut it up, the legs and breast go into the main courses, and from the chicken wings and wings I make broth, and if necessary, pour it into small containers and store it in the freezer.
STEP 5

Puree the sauce with a blender until smooth and simmer for another 5 minutes. You can adjust the thickness of the sauce yourself; if you want the sauce thicker, you need to simmer longer. You can add some chopped herbs to the sauce.
STEP 6

This sauce is perfect for chicken. Chicken fillet can be cut into small cubes, fried, poured over the sauce and simmered. You can take already prepared meat and simply pour the sauce on top when serving. Rice, pasta or vegetables are ideal as a side dish. Bon appetit!
