STEP 1
How to make creamy garlic sauce? First of all, prepare all the ingredients for making the sauce.
STEP 2
The recipe for making creamy garlic sauce, of course, requires the direct use of garlic. Therefore, take a head of garlic and separate a couple of cloves from it. Peel them, then crush them with the back of a knife and use the same knife to finely chop the crushed cloves. If you want to simplify the task and speed up the process, you can chop the garlic by squeezing the cloves through a garlic press.
STEP 3
Now take a frying pan with a thick bottom (it should be dry and non-greasy, so you need to wash it thoroughly before use) and put a piece of butter and finely chopped garlic in it. Turn on low heat and fry the food, stirring constantly and bringing the garlic until soft, without allowing it to brown - it should become almost transparent.
STEP 4
This will take about a minute. Under no circumstances should there be a burning smell when frying garlic (this usually happens on high heat), this will subsequently ruin the entire sauce. Only the garlic aroma should be noticeable.
STEP 5
Then pour the milk cream into the pan, pepper and salt the future sauce, season with nutmeg, stirring (so that the cream does not burn), continue cooking the sauce over low heat until it thickens and obtains a homogeneous consistency. This will take about 7-10 minutes. Please note that how long you cook the sauce will determine its thickness. So, it can turn out thin or even quite thick.
STEP 6
After this time, immediately remove the pan with the sauce from the heat. Cool the prepared sauce.
STEP 7
Serve creamy garlic sauce as an addition to appetizers, hot dishes, or use it as a dressing for vegetable salad.
