STEP 1

How to make homemade croutons in a frying pan from bread? Prepare all the necessary ingredients. For croutons, you can use any bread, depending on the purpose for which homemade croutons are prepared. Spices can also be used differently to suit your taste, creating a new aroma and taste each time.
STEP 2

It’s okay if the bread is not very soft; it’s even better if the baked goods are fresh from yesterday; they will crumble less when slicing. I used yesterday’s loaf, the crackers from it are more airy and crunchy. These are a good option for a crunchy occasion. Cut the bread into cubes about 1.5 cm in size.
STEP 3

Pour vegetable oil into a bowl, add spices: ground black pepper, salt, ground coriander, sweet paprika. I added another pinch of dried basil, it gave the crackers a pleasant aroma and taste. If desired, the set of spices can be changed.
STEP 4

Mix the spices with oil so that the aroma of the prepared seasoning is fully revealed. It is better not to immediately add garlic to the set of spices, because when frying crackers, it will start to burn quickly and give them an unpleasant bitterness. STEP 5

But in order for the finished crackers to still have an amazing pleasant aroma of garlic, peel the garlic cloves from the film and cut them into thin slices. Pour vegetable oil into a frying pan and heat it. Fry the garlic pieces in oil until they become translucent and release their aroma into the oil. Then remove the garlic from the oil; we won’t need it anymore.
STEP 6

Place bread mixtures mixed with spices into the resulting aromatic oil. Dry the crackers over low heat, stirring them constantly with a spatula so that they fry evenly and do not burn.
STEP 7

On average, frying the bread croutons will take about 10-15 minutes, depending on the quantity used to prepare the bread croutons. Turn off the heat, let the croutons cool in the pan, then they will become crispier. Serve the white bread croutons with garlic to the table. Bon appetit!
