They can only be prepared with berries or fruits - berries, the assortment turns out delicious. The taste of compote is usually deep and rich. But the berry is thrown away; it has already given up all its benefits, aroma and color.

For me, this method of sterilization is the most convenient, I have been using it for many years, and it has not let me down.

    Add citric acid to the drained syrup and bring to a boil.

    And again pour boiling syrup into the jars of berries so that the syrup slightly spills over the edge of the neck. If there is not enough syrup, add clean hot syrup.

    Immediately seal the jars with lids. Roll on the table, checking for leaks. /It is better to lay a natural board/. Wipe the jars clean with a clean, damp cloth and turn them upside down and leave until completely cooled. Then store in a dark, cool place.
