Add sugar and bring to a boil, stirring until the sugar dissolves, 5 minutes.

Wash the soda cans. Sterilize the jars in any way convenient for you: steam, microwave or oven the jars. I usually sterilize small jars in the microwave by pouring a little water into them. Wash the lids and boil.

Wash the lemon thoroughly using food detergent and cut into thin slices. Place a thin slice of lemon into each sterile jar (you can squeeze lemon juice into the syrup, this does not play a special role, the main thing is that the acid gets into the compote).

Fill the jars with boiled berries.

Fill the jars with boiling syrup to the brim; it is better to pour it over the brim - this will achieve a better degree of sterilization.
STEP 10
Close the jars with compote with previously boiled lids.
STEP 11
Screw on the lids tightly, turn the jars over and wrap them until they cool completely under a fur coat.
