  1. STEP 1

    STEP 1

How to make classic yeast dough? Prepare the necessary ingredients for this. Heat the milk until warm. Thanks to this, the yeast will begin its work faster and the dough will rise well.

  2. STEP 2

    STEP 2

To prepare the dough, take a wide bowl so that it is convenient to knead the dough in it. Pour warm milk into the bowl (not hot!) and add sugar and yeast.

  3. STEP 3

    STEP 3

Add flour and mix everything with a whisk. The dough will be a little thick. Cover the bowl with a towel and leave in a warm place for about 20 minutes. During this time, the yeast will actively start working and the dough will begin to rise like a cap.

  4. STEP 4

    STEP 4

Now you can continue preparing the dough. Melt the butter and cool. Pour the oil into the bowl with the dough. Next, beat in the eggs, add salt and mix everything.

  5. STEP 5

    STEP 5

Sift the flour through a sieve to saturate it with oxygen. This will make the dough more airy. Gradually add the sifted flour into the bowl and knead the dough. Use the amount of flour based on the consistency of the finished dough. You may need a little more or less.

  6. STEP 6

    STEP 6

When the dough sticks to my hands just a little, I stop adding flour. I grease my hands with vegetable oil and knead the dough with my hands. Thanks to vegetable oil, you don’t have to add extra flour so as not to clog the dough with it. Leave the finished dough in a bowl under a towel in a warm place for 1 hour.

  7. STEP 7

    STEP 7

During this time, the dough will rise well and increase in volume by 2-3 times. Punch down the dough and start making pies or pies. Have fun cooking!

This was the first time I made dough with yeast; before, I always used kefir. The dough increased five times in size in an hour and a half. Then I baked bread from it, it turned out fluffy and tasty. With kefir, my results were always not so high. My flour is gray, not the highest grade, that’s why it’s the color.

Thanks for the recipe! By the way, from classic yeast dough you can make pizza, pies with different fillings, buns, sweet and savory. I would call it universal.
