Chocolate cupcake in a mug in the microwave
Ingredients
Step-by-step preparation
STEP 1
How to bake a chocolate cupcake in a mug in the microwave? Prepare all the necessary ingredients. Take the highest grade wheat flour. Sift it through a sieve into a bowl. Add baking powder. He will be responsible for the rise and fluffiness of the cupcakes. You will learn a lot of important and useful information about baking powder by reading the article at the end of the recipe.
STEP 2
Add granulated sugar, cocoa powder and a little salt to the bowl to enhance the flavor of the cupcakes. It is also better to sift cocoa through a sieve, otherwise you will have to spend a long time getting rid of lumps of cocoa in the dry mixture.
STEP 3
Mix the dry mixture thoroughly until all ingredients are combined. We ended up with a ready-made cake mix, straight from the store! By the way, you can prepare more of it in advance and simply add the liquid component at the right time! This will significantly save time on preparing this already quick dessert.
STEP 4
Pour milk and vegetable oil into a bowl. Stir the mixture again until smooth. You may need a little less or more flour, check the consistency of the dough. It should be of medium thickness and fluid. Read about the properties of flour in a separate article at the end of the recipe.
STEP 5
Grease the bottom of microwave-safe mugs with sunflower oil. The walls of the mugs must be dry! I have ordinary ceramic mugs with a volume of 360 ml. Pour about one and a half tablespoons of batter into each mug.
STEP 6
Then, if desired, you can put a small piece of dark or milk chocolate into the mugs. Then the cupcakes will turn out with a liquid center, like in my photo. But this is a completely optional step! You can immediately distribute all the dough equally between the mugs without adding chocolate.
STEP 7
Divide the remaining batter on top of the chocolate evenly between the mugs. As a result, the mugs should be filled to no more than two-thirds of their volume so that when baking the cupcakes do not overflow the boundaries of their mugs. My dough doesn't even reach the middle of the mug.
STEP 8
Bake the cupcakes for about two minutes at eight hundred watts in the microwave. Focus on your microwave! If you have a more powerful oven, it will take less time to cook, and vice versa. Read more about how microwaves work in the article at the end of the recipe.
STEP 9
Chocolate cupcakes in a mug with cocoa without eggs should increase in volume and become elastic, but at the same time not burn on the bottom! If you feel like the muffins are still raw after two minutes of cooking, you can simply bake them a little longer. Dust the cupcakes with powdered sugar before serving.
