Step-by-step preparation
STEP 1
How to make chicken strips? First, prepare the required ingredients. Remove the skin from the chicken fillet, if necessary, cut off all excess, rinse thoroughly and dry with a paper towel. Now cut the meat into fairly long strips about 2.5 centimeters wide.
STEP 2
Transfer the chopped chicken to a suitable bowl. Add water, olive oil, hot pepper, black pepper, dried garlic and salt to it. Stir well to coat the chicken evenly with the marinade.
STEP 3
Cover the chicken with cling film and marinate in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours, or better yet, 12 hours. In fact, it's convenient. We marinated it in the morning, and in the evening you can already invite guests.
STEP 4
After this time, prepare a bowl of boiled water and a colander. Place a deep dish on the stove, I use a wok frying pan. Pour vegetable oil for deep frying into it and set to heat up.
STEP 5
Prepare the ingredients for the topping. Add salt and paprika to the flour and stir until smooth.
STEP 6
Dredge the chicken pieces thoroughly in flour.
STEP 7
Place all floured chicken pieces into a colander. Then dip the colander into a bowl of water. As soon as the bubbles pass, remove the colander and let the water drain a little.
STEP 8
Now coat the chicken pieces in corn flakes on all sides. You can use unsweetened breakfast cereals instead of instant corn flakes. In this case, they need to be crushed, and after deboning, press them well onto the chicken with your hands.
STEP 9
By this time, the oil has already warmed up sufficiently. Transfer the chicken to deep fry for about 10 minutes.
STEP 10
Use kitchen tongs to transfer the finished strips to a paper towel to absorb excess oil. Then transfer to a platter and serve. KFS chicken strips are ready at home. Bon appetit!
