Chicken legs in a frying pan

STEP 1
How to fry delicious chicken legs in a frying pan? Prepare all the necessary ingredients. You can take whole legs, or just thighs or drumsticks. Butter can be replaced with ghee.
STEP 2
Beat the eggs into a bowl. Add salt and ground black pepper to taste.
STEP 3
Mix the eggs until smooth and the salt has dissolved.
STEP 4
Wash the chicken legs and dry with paper towels. Place the legs in a large bowl or pan so that they are in a single layer. Pour the egg mixture into them and mix. The legs should be completely covered with it. Cover the container with cling film or a lid and marinate for 12 hours in the refrigerator.
STEP 5
Remove the container with the legs from the refrigerator and stir thoroughly again so that as much of the egg mixture remains on them as possible. Place breadcrumbs in a wide plate and completely coat the legs in them. If you want a denser crispy crust, use finely ground crackers.
STEP 6
Heat the vegetable oil and butter in a frying pan over medium heat. Fry the legs in hot oil until golden brown. This will take approximately 7 to 12 minutes. It all depends on your pan and heat level. Turn the legs over to the other side.
STEP 7
Cover the pan with a lid and reduce heat to low.
STEP 8
Cook chicken legs, covered, for 30 minutes until cooked through. The legs are ready when clear juice flows out when pierced. To form a crust, remove the lid, turn up the heat to high and fry the legs on both sides. Remove the finished legs from the heat.
STEP 9
Serve the crusty fried legs hot with any side dish. Bon appetit!
