I wanted to cook chicken gizzards for pasta, but in a new way. On the website I found a recipe for chicken gizzards stewed with soy sauce. This is an interesting option! I took 700 g of stomachs, defrosted them, washed them, and cleaned them. Then she added water and brought it to a boil, drained this broth and then cooked it in the second broth. For flavor I added allspice and frozen dill umbrellas. The stomachs were cooked for two hours until soft. Before stewing, I cut them in half. I also finely chopped the onion and as soon as it turned golden, I added the gizzards and soy sauce. I used chicken broth. I liked the taste of this combination, but decided to add an additional spoon of tomato. It turned out to be a very tasty dish! The stomachs are mega soft, tender, soaked in delicious sauce. I'll definitely keep this recipe in mind!

I suggest replacing soy sauce with tomato sauce (we are more familiar with it) and preparing the gizzards with it. The result will be an equally tasty dish, but in my opinion, richer in flavor. This is how I cook veal heart.

Nothing to do with stewed stomachs!!! Why pre-boil? Why spoil a dietary product with a bouillon cube? When and in what to stew gizzards?

Why add a cube? Isn't it possible to stew it in the broth where the stomachs were cooked?
