STEP 1
How to make chicken curry with rice in a frying pan? Prepare the necessary ingredients for this. You can take breast fillet or thigh fillet. You can change the proportions and quantity of spices a little to your taste.
STEP 2
Immediately set the rice to cook. I use steamed long grain rice. I like it because it doesn’t overcook and it turns out crumbly. Place the washed rice in boiling salted water and cook for 20 minutes until tender. The rice should be soft, but not overcooked. Rely on the information on the packaging. Place the finished rice in a colander. You can pour it with cold water.
STEP 3
Cut the chicken meat into small pieces.
STEP 4
Peel the garlic. Heat a frying pan until hot and pour vegetable oil into it. Add chopped garlic and fry it for a minute. It will give off its aroma to the oil.
STEP 5
Place the chopped chicken in the pan and fry for 3-4 minutes until it changes color.
STEP 6
Peel and chop the onion. Add it to the pan with the chicken.
STEP 7
Sprinkle the chicken with salt, curry, paprika and ground pepper. Mix everything, cover with a lid and simmer over low heat for 25-30 minutes. A sufficient amount of juice will appear from the onions and chicken. It should be enough for cooking. But if it is not enough, you can add a little hot water.
STEP 8
During stewing, the chicken meat will have time to cook and soak in the spices. Pour the cream into the pan and bring to a boil. The fattier the cream, the more delicate the taste. I have 33% cream. The quantity and thickness of the sauce can be adjusted with cream and water.
STEP 9
Warm for another minute and remove from heat. Chicken curry is ready.
STEP 10
Place the cooked rice on a plate and the chicken in the center. The dish can be sprinkled with fresh herbs on top. Rice with chicken in curry sauce is ready. Bon appetit!
