STEP 1

How to make caramelized bananas in a frying pan? To prepare a delicious dessert, prepare all the necessary ingredients. You should not use bananas that are already overripe, otherwise they will fall apart during cooking. Bananas should be quite dense.
STEP 2

Peel the bananas and cut into pieces 1.5-2 centimeters thick. Don't cut them too thin. You can even cut the bananas lengthwise, along the entire length.
STEP 3

Melt the butter in a small frying pan. Do this over low heat so that the oil does not start to burn. Stir the butter so that it melts as evenly as possible. Read the separate article at the end of the recipe for how to choose a frying pan.
STEP 4

Then pour the prepared sugar into the melted butter. Stir and leave to heat for a few more minutes.
STEP 5

The sugar will melt and begin to take on a golden, caramel color. The process must be controlled. The mass will begin to foam. If you miss a little, the sugar may burn. Use a wooden spatula to mix.
STEP 6

Pour water into the caramel mass. Do this carefully, as the mixture will begin to sizzle and bubble. That's how it should be. Stir the mixture and cook for a minute until the sugar dissolves.
STEP 7

Place sliced bananas into hot caramel. Cook them for a minute over low heat. If the bananas are soft, then the frying time can be reduced a little. The main thing is that they retain their shape.
STEP 8

Then carefully flip the bananas over and cook for another minute on the other side. Sprinkle them with a little ground cinnamon to taste. Instead of cinnamon, you can also sprinkle with sesame seeds.
STEP 9

Homemade caramelized bananas are ready! Place them on the prepared dish and help yourself. They are very tasty both hot and cold. Enjoy your meal!
