Cake with butter cream and berry marmalade
Ingredients
Step-by-step preparation
STEP 1
Remove the layer of puff pastry from the freezer in advance. Place it on a board sprinkled with flour, cover with film so that it does not weather or dry out. Thaw it for an hour until it becomes soft and elastic for rolling out. Then roll out the puff pastry and use a metal mold to cut out circles.
STEP 2
Take a baking sheet, turn it over and line it with baking paper. Place puff pastry circles on paper. Next, lay down another sheet of baking paper. Then take another baking sheet and place it on top of baking paper. Preheat the oven to 180°C, then place the structure of baking sheets, baking paper and dough into it for 10 minutes.
STEP 3
After this time, open the oven and remove the top tray and paper, bake the puff pastry for another 10 minutes until golden brown. Then take out a baking sheet and place the finished puff pastries on a wooden board to let them cool.
STEP 4
Then assemble the cakes. Add flavoring to the buttercream and stir. To do this, you need to take a circle of puff pastry and coat it with butter cream. Take strawberry syrup and pour it on top of the cream. Place the circle again, coat it with cream and add syrup, place the circle again and coat it with cream. Thus, you need to collect two more cakes. Grate the dark chocolate on a fine grater.
STEP 5
Now for each cake you need to place one marmalade berry in the center and five more around the circumference. Then sprinkle the cakes with grated chocolate. Place the finished cakes with buttercream and berry marmalade in the refrigerator for at least a couple of hours.
