STEP 1

How to stew cabbage with minced meat in a slow cooker? Prepare your food. You can take ready-made minced meat or make it yourself at home. It can be from any meat or poultry; I used a mixture of beef and pork. It made the dish fattier and juicier. If you want lunch to be less calorie, then take minced chicken. Choose a set of spices according to your taste, I use black and allspice pepper, and bay leaf.
STEP 2

Finely chop the white cabbage. I advise you to mash it a little with your hands, so the cabbage will become softer and release its juice faster.
STEP 3

Peel the onion and finely chop. Heat vegetable oil in a frying pan and add the onion to it. Fry the onion over low heat for a couple of minutes, then add the minced meat to it and mix it well with the onion. Fry everything together for a few minutes until the minced meat changes color. Stir it periodically. You can also do the frying process in the multicooker itself, if you have such a function in it.
STEP 4

Place the minced meat and onions in the multicooker bowl. Send the chopped cabbage there too. Add spices to taste: salt, ground black pepper, you can throw in a couple of allspice peas and bay leaves, they will not spoil the dish, but will give a pleasant aftertaste. It is better to do this if you use minced beef and pork; if you use minced chicken, then it is better not to add spices such as sweet peas and bay leaves. Mix cabbage and meat.
STEP 5

Fill the food with water until it just barely reaches the top of the cabbage with minced meat. Close the multicooker with a lid and turn on the “stew” program for 2 hours. During this time, look into the multicooker a couple of times and stir the cabbage mass. After the beep, turn off the multicooker. The dish is ready, you can serve it immediately. Bon appetit!
