STEP 1

Necessary products.
STEP 2

Divide the dough into 4 squares. Brush each square with beaten egg and a pinch of salt.
STEP 3

Sprinkle with poppy seeds and sugar.
STEP 4

Roll each square into a roll.
STEP 5

Fold the roll in half. Do not completely cut each “leg” of the roll in half in half.
STEP 6

Turn each leg half out so that the poppy seed filling is visible. Press the ends of the hearts lightly to form a pointed heart. Brush the hearts with beaten egg and sprinkle with sugar.
STEP 7

Place the hearts on a baking sheet covered with parchment. Bake in an oven preheated to 180 degrees for 20 minutes, until golden brown.
