    STEP 1

How to make buckwheat with stew in a slow cooker? Prepare the necessary ingredients for this. Stew can be used from any type of meat. I have stewed pork. The proportions of the ingredients can be slightly changed to your taste, but the ratio of buckwheat and water should be 1:2.

  2. STEP 2

    STEP 2

Peel the onions and carrots and rinse them in running water to remove any dirt. Then grate the carrots on a coarse grater and finely chop the onion. Turn the multicooker on to the “Saute” mode and wait for the bowl to warm up until hot. Pour a little vegetable oil and add the prepared vegetables. Fry them for 2-3 minutes, remembering to stir.

  3. STEP 3

    STEP 3

Then place the stew into the slow cooker. Stir in vegetables and heat for another 3-5 minutes.

  4. STEP 4

    STEP 4

Rinse the buckwheat several times in cold water and drain it thoroughly. Place the buckwheat in the multicooker bowl and add the required amount of water. Add a little salt and ground pepper to taste. Switch the multicooker to Cereal mode for 25 minutes. Close the lid.

  5. STEP 5

    STEP 5

After the specified time, the multicooker will emit a sound indicating that the dish is ready. Open the lid, stir and you can serve. Place the buckwheat and stew on plates and serve. Bon appetit!

Nutritious and tasty porridge, thank you. I also cook buckwheat with stewed meat this way, though not in a slow cooker, but in a saucepan.

Buckwheat with stew in a slow cooker, what could be tastier. I really love dishes with stew. I use my homemade pulled pork. I chopped the onion, took grated and frozen carrots. Sautéed vegetables in odorless oil in a slow cooker. I added the stew and simmered it a little more in the frying mode. I added buckwheat and poured water. Among the spices I added bay leaf and a little salt, since my stew is salty. Cooked on cereal mode for 20 minutes. The dish is very simple to prepare from available ingredients. Opening the lid of the multicooker, there was a magical aroma. The dish is very tasty, filling and aromatic. You can eat this dish at least every day. The buckwheat turned out crumbly with enough meat and vegetables. I liked it very much. Before serving, sprinkle freshly ground pepper on top of the buckwheat and stew. A wonderful dinner. Many thanks to the author 😊
