    STEP 1

How to cook buckwheat soup with chicken? Prepare all the necessary ingredients. You can use any part of the chicken for the soup; I used chicken fillet. Wash potatoes and carrots with a brush under running water, peel and rinse. Peel the onion and rinse. You can find out how to choose buckwheat by reading the corresponding article. 2. STEP 2

    STEP 2

Pour cold water over the chicken, bring to a boil and simmer for 30 minutes. When boiling, foam will form, which must be skimmed off. Then remove the chicken from the pan, remove the meat from the bones (chop it a little if necessary) and return it back to the strained broth. Bring everything to a boil again. You will learn how to choose a pot for soup from the article, the link is at the end of this recipe.

  3. STEP 3

    STEP 3

Cut the peeled potatoes into small pieces. Rinse the buckwheat well several times. Then drain all the water from it. The presence of potatoes in the soup will make it more nutritious.

Add chopped potatoes and buckwheat to the pan with the chicken. Bring to a boil and leave to simmer over medium heat for 10-15 minutes. Be guided by the readiness of the potatoes. It should be easily pierced with a sharp knife.

  5. STEP 5

    STEP 5

During this time, grate the carrots on a medium or fine grater. Finely chop the onion.

  6. STEP 6

    STEP 6

Heat a small frying pan until hot and pour some vegetable oil into it. Then add chopped vegetables - onions and carrots. Fry everything together for 3-4 minutes over medium heat. Remember to stir occasionally to prevent the vegetables from burning. Otherwise, they will spoil the taste of the entire soup. You will learn how to choose oil for frying by reading an article on this topic. There is a link to it at the end of this recipe.

  7. STEP 7

    STEP 7

Place the roast in a pot of soup. Add a little salt and spices to taste. If desired, the soup can be supplemented with chopped fresh herbs. Boil for another 2-3 minutes and remove from heat.

  8. STEP 8

    STEP 8

Pour the prepared buckwheat soup with chicken and potatoes into prepared plates and serve. Bon appetit!

I’ve never made soup with buckwheat, it seemed to me that they were incompatible) But it’s time to try something new! I cooked a small portion. I made the broth from a chicken wing, it turned out light, but at the same time quite filling. I made a frying of onions and carrots, the carrots release carotene into the oil and the soup turns out golden. This soup doesn’t take long to prepare, but it turns out satisfying. I loved the buckwheat soup with chicken! The specific taste of buckwheat is practically not felt, which was very surprising) In fact, the soup is tasty, aromatic, it is an excellent lunch and variety in the everyday menu.
