  1. STEP 1

    STEP 1

How to bake broccoli in the oven with cheese? Prepare the necessary ingredients. Broccoli can be taken either fresh or frozen. I used fresh cabbage. If you have frozen broccoli, you need to defrost it first. Instead of broccoli, you can take cauliflower or Brussels sprouts, and also make an assortment of broccoli and cauliflower. Turn on the oven to 200 degrees in advance.

  2. STEP 2

    STEP 2

Wash the broccoli, dry it and cut off the florets from the central stem. If you have frozen cabbage, you can skip steps 2 and 3.

  3. STEP 3

    STEP 3

Separate the cabbage into smaller florets.

  4. STEP 4

    STEP 4

Grease a baking dish with vegetable oil and place broccoli florets in it. Any heat-resistant shape will do.

  5. STEP 5

    STEP 5

Top the cabbage with sour cream.

  6. STEP 6

    STEP 6

Grate the cheese on a coarse grater. Place the form with cabbage in an oven preheated to 200°C for 10 minutes. After the specified time, remove the pan from the oven and sprinkle the cabbage with grated cheese. Return the broccoli to the oven for another 5 minutes, then turn off the heat. Leave the cabbage in the cooling oven for another 10 minutes. Ready-to-eat cabbage should be moderately firm, crispy, and not softened. Bon appetit!

I'm the only one in our family who likes broccoli, so I made myself a portion. This dish is very easy to prepare and the results are amazing! I had frozen cabbage, first defrosted it on the table, and laid it on a towel to remove excess water. I greased the mold with butter for a more delicate taste. I decided to add a little cream to the sour cream, I like this combination. At the same time, the sauce turned out to be watery, but the broccoli turned out juicy. For topping I used two types of cheese: cheddar and regular hard cheese. I baked it immediately for 15 minutes and kept it in the turned off oven for 10 minutes. My broccoli baked in the oven with cheese turned out colorful in appearance and very tasty! The cabbage is tender and holds its shape well. It tastes creamy, the cheese pleasantly complements the broccoli. It is better to serve immediately, while the cheese stretches appetizingly. Thanks for the recipe!
