STEP 1
How to boil turkey breast? Prepare your food. Rinse and dry the meat; if the breast is large, cut it into small pieces. Be sure to cook completely defrosted meat without skin. Defrost the turkey correctly - on the bottom shelf of the refrigerator.
STEP 2
Pour water into a saucepan and put it on fire. When the water boils, add the turkey meat. This sequence will allow you to preserve the maximum of nutrients in the meat. Do not pour a lot of water, it should only cover the meat a couple of centimeters. Reduce the heat to low.
STEP 3
During cooking, be sure to remove the foam that forms from the surface; along with it, various harmful substances come out of the meat. The broth should remain transparent. Cook turkey fillet for about 20 minutes.
STEP 4
After 20 minutes of cooking, put half of the peeled and washed carrots and half of the onion cut into pieces into the pan. Cook the turkey and vegetables for about 30 minutes more.
STEP 5
Then add a bay leaf and a few black peppercorns to the pan with the turkey and add salt to taste. For spiciness, you can add a few peeled cloves of garlic. Cook the meat for about 15 minutes more. Then turn off the heat and remove the breast from the pan.
STEP 6
The boiled turkey is ready. If desired, you can use the broth in which the meat was boiled to prepare soup, seasoning it with vegetables, cereals or pasta. Serve turkey meat with fresh vegetables, herbs or sauce. Bon appetit!
