Boiled rice with corn as a side dish
Step-by-step preparation
STEP 1

Prepare the ingredients. To prepare a side dish of boiled rice with canned corn we will need: rice (preferably long grain, preferably steamed)
STEP 2

Rinse the rice thoroughly in cold water. Then drain in a colander and dry.
STEP 3

Place rice in a saucepan. Fill with cold water so that the water level is slightly higher than the level of the rice. Add salt to the pan.
STEP 4

Place the pan over low heat, cover with a lid, leaving a small crack for steam to escape.
STEP 5

Cook the rice for about 15 minutes until cooked and the liquid has completely evaporated.
STEP 6

Place the canned corn in a colander and let the liquid drain. Dry the grains. Add canned corn to the pan with the prepared rice and stir.
STEP 7

This side dish can be served with any main dishes: meat, poultry, fish. I served this side dish with chicken skewers, as well as chicken bacon rolls. Bon appetit!
