    How to make delicious boiled potatoes? Very simple! Prepare all the necessary ingredients. And even though many people know how to cook potatoes, when I did it for the first time, I couldn’t find a single recipe anywhere, so now I’ll tell you everything in detail.

    Take the potatoes and wash them with a brush in running water. Peel the potatoes.

    Then cut the tubers into fairly large pieces and rinse again in water.

    Place all the potatoes in a saucepan and cover with cold water. Turn the heat on the stove to maximum and place a pan on the burner. When the water boils, add salt to taste, reduce the heat to medium and cook the potatoes until fully cooked, covering with a lid for about 15-20 minutes. Cooking time may vary as it will depend on the type of potato you choose.

    At this time, wash the dill in running water and dry with paper towels. Chop the dill with a knife. You can add parsley or other herbs to the dill to your taste.

    Check whether the potatoes are ready or not by piercing them with a fork. You can, of course, pierce it with a knife, but only if you have a knife in the kitchen, which you don’t mind at all, because boiling water ruins most knives. When the potatoes are cooked and easily pierced, drain the water.

    Place a piece of butter and dill in a saucepan with potatoes. Cover the pan with a lid and shake a couple of times so that the oil and dill are distributed evenly throughout the pan with the potatoes. By the way, if you overcook your potatoes, the shaking process may cause them to fall apart almost into a puree, so keep a close eye on the potatoes as they cook.

Boiled potatoes are prepared quickly and easily! I took large tubers, did not cut them finely, and divided them into 8-10 slices. Cooked for 20 minutes, adding salt and closing the pan with a lid. The potatoes became very soft and crumbly, which I was convinced of when I tried to pierce them with a knife, checking their readiness. After draining the water, I added butter and herbs to the potatoes - parsley and dill (I had frozen ones). After that, I closed the pan with a lid and shook it several times. I immediately felt the wonderful aroma of melting butter and herbs, which flavored the potato wedges, evenly distributed throughout the pan. It turned out very tasty! We ate potatoes with fresh and pickled vegetables with great pleasure! I remembered how our friends, when boiling potatoes, seasoned them with unrefined vegetable oil and herbs. It turns out especially tasty in the summer, during the summer season, when there is a lot of fresh dill, parsley, and basil on hand. Thank you very much for the recipe! I will definitely use it!

I cooked boiled potatoes for dinner. A simple dish, but so tasty! With butter, with dill, mm... fragrant, delicious! My potatoes were medium-sized; I didn’t cut them, but boiled them whole. I drained the water, added oil, chopped dill, and stirred. Sometimes the simplest dishes turn out to be much tastier than the complex ones!

Boiling potatoes may seem like a very easy and knowledge-free task, but this is not entirely true. After all, potatoes come in different varieties, and the cooking time is accordingly different; you need to know how much and to what state to cook, so as not to end up with potato porridge. Boiled potatoes with dill and butter are a very worthy side dish, I also added finely chopped garlic, everyone should hear the aroma. Boiled potatoes are tasty and aromatic.

Such a simple recipe: boiled potatoes, but so tasty! I peeled the potatoes, mine were small, I didn’t cut them. Boil until done, drain the water. Added butter and chopped dill. I closed the lid and shook the pan a little so that the oil and dill were evenly distributed. I put it on a plate and sprinkled it with a little more dill. It turned out fragrant and very tasty!
