STEP 1
To prepare delicious blackcurrant jam for the winter, we prepare the necessary products.

We rinse two kilograms of ripe blackcurrants with cold water, place them in a colander, and after all the water has drained, transfer the berries to a deep bowl.
STEP 3
We pass about one kilogram of currants through a meat grinder with a large grid into a suitable enamel basin.
STEP 4
Pour sugar into the bowl with the berries passed through a meat grinder.
STEP 5
Mix the currants and sugar well with a wooden spoon.
STEP 6
Pass the remaining currants into a bowl through a meat grinder and pour in the next portion of sugar.
STEP 7
Mix the sugar and berries well.
STEP 8
Pour the rest of the sugar into a bowl with pureed currants.
STEP 9
Mix the currants passed through a meat grinder well with the added sugar and stir periodically for one to two hours until it is completely dissolved.
STEP 10
We prepare clean and dry sterilized jars for the prepared jam.
STEP 11
Transfer the prepared jam from the basin into jars using a funnel and close them tightly with clean and sterile lids.
STEP 12
Place jars of prepared blackcurrant jam for storage in a dry and dark place, maybe at room temperature, but away from heating appliances.
