Not necessary. Beef Stroganoff is made from different meats, depending on your taste.

Very tasty, I didn’t even have any doubts, I changed the order of frying a little, first I fried the meat, and while it was frying I prepared the vegetables for frying, but I think the rearrangement of the terms did not change the result.
