STEP 1

How to make beef stroganoff from liver with sour cream in a frying pan? Prepare the indicated products. It is best to take beef liver fresh, with a pleasant smell and even color, without bruising. Sour cream is suitable for any fat content, I use 15%. You can add sweet peas and bay leaves to the spices to your taste. Prepare a frying pan and a small saucepan.
STEP 2

Rinse the beef liver well under running cold water. Remove all films from it. It is also necessary, if possible, to cut off all the veins - large and small. Cut the prepared liver into small cubes, about 1 by 4 centimeters.
STEP 3

Pour some vegetable oil into a heated frying pan. Place the prepared beef liver in the pan and fry over medium heat for about five minutes.
STEP 4

Peel the onions and cut into half rings. Add the chopped onion to the liver and fry everything together over low heat for 5 - 10 minutes. You can cover the pan with a lid.
STEP 5

Pour water into the saucepan and dilute the flour, stirring constantly so that there are no lumps. Place the prepared mixture over low heat and heat, stirring constantly, until it boils. Add sour cream, mix everything well and bring to a boil, remembering to stir constantly so that nothing burns.
STEP 6

Add the prepared sour cream sauce to the liver, stir, add salt, ground black pepper and other spices to taste, cover and simmer for about 15 minutes.
STEP 7

Serve the finished beef liver stroganoff with sour cream hot. Boiled rice, mashed potatoes or pasta are suitable as a side dish. Place the hot side dish, pieces of liver on a plate and pour the sauce over everything. Bon appetit!
