  1. STEP 1

    STEP 1

How to make beef pilaf in a frying pan? Prepare the necessary ingredients. Beef is needed in the form of boneless pulp. Rinse the garlic cloves, do not peel the husks. If you wish, you can use not individual cloves, but a whole small head of garlic, which also needs to be peeled from the top thin husk and washed thoroughly.

  2. STEP 2

    STEP 2

Wash the beef, cut into medium cubes. I had already chopped beef goulash.

  3. STEP 3

    STEP 3

Rinse the rice thoroughly until the water is clear and dry. It is better to take special rice for pilaf. It won't boil over.

  4. STEP 4

    STEP 4

Peel the carrots and cut into small cubes.

  5. STEP 5

    STEP 5

Peel the onion. If you wish, you can use the onion whole, like I did, or cut it into small cubes and fry it together with the carrots (step 6).

  6. STEP 6

    STEP 6

Heat vegetable oil in a frying pan, add carrots and fry for 5-6 minutes. If you want to add chopped onion, add it along with the carrots.

  7. STEP 7

    STEP 7

Add the beef and stir-fry for about 10 minutes until golden brown.

  8. STEP 8

    STEP 8

Pour in a glass of boiling water. Sprinkle the meat with pilaf spices, salt and pepper.

  9. STEP 9

    STEP 9

Reduce heat to medium and simmer the meat for 20-25 minutes, covered, until excess moisture has evaporated.

  10. STEP 10

    STEP 10

Add washed rice. There is no need to mix it with beef; the grain should be on top of the meat.

  11. STEP 11

    STEP 11

Pour in the remaining 500 ml of hot water. Stick a whole onion into the rice, if you did not add it chopped before, as well as whole cloves of garlic. Lightly salt and pepper.

  12. STEP 12

    STEP 12

Simmer, covered, over high heat for 10-15 minutes. Then reduce the heat to low and simmer the pilaf until the liquid has completely evaporated. Remove the finished pilaf from the heat and let it brew under the lid for 10 minutes.

  13. STEP 13

    STEP 13

Place the finished pilaf on plates, sprinkle with chopped herbs if desired and serve. Bon appetit!

Beef is very healthy and if it appears in our house, I immediately try to cook something tasty and nutritious. This time I prepared pilaf. First I fried the beef along with onions and carrots, and then I had to simmer it for quite a long time until it became soft. We love onions in pilaf, so I cut a fairly large onion into cubes and fried them with carrots. I usually cut carrots into strips, but I decided to cut them into cubes) the children did not notice the substitution) I took special rice for pilaf, it does not boil into porridge and does not become “plastic” during the cooking process. I had to add a little water, it evaporated faster than the rice was cooked. I definitely add boiling water. For spices I took pilaf mixture and paprika. The pilaf was excellent, we ate it instantly! Garlic adds such a delicious flavor! The rice was soaked in meat juice and became very tasty. An excellent option for a hearty family dinner. I recommend this recipe to everyone!

I also cook pilaf in a frying pan, since I have not yet acquired a cauldron, it turns out very tasty, even though it is cooked in a frying pan.

Yes, you can cook it in any container, although the taste is different, nog is also delicious if you serve it immediately after cooking and do not reheat it!
