  1. STEP 1

    STEP 1

How to make beef liver in the oven with onions? Prepare the necessary ingredients. Oil is only needed for frying the onions. Use salt and pepper to taste. It is better to take fresh liver that has not been previously frozen. Turn on the oven to 190 degrees in advance.

  2. STEP 2

    STEP 2

Rinse the liver under running water, remove films, fat and blood clots from it. If desired, the liver can be cut into large pieces. Transfer the liver to a bowl or directly into a baking dish, add salt and pepper to taste, stir and leave for about 10. Read about how to choose a baking dish in a separate article at the link at the end of the recipe.

  3. STEP 3

    STEP 3

Peel the onion and cut into half rings. In a frying pan, fry the onion in oil until golden brown over medium heat, stirring constantly. Read about how to choose the right vegetable oil for frying in a separate article at the link at the end of the recipe.

  4. STEP 4

    STEP 4

Place the fried onion on top of the liver, distributing it evenly.

  5. STEP 5

    STEP 5

Cover the pan with the liver with a lid or foil and place in an oven preheated to 190 degrees for about 30 minutes. The exact time depends on your oven. You can learn about the operating features of ovens by reading a separate article, the link is at the end of the recipe. It is better to check the readiness during the baking process by piercing the liver with a knife: if the juice is clear, then the liver is ready. You can’t cook it longer, otherwise it will dry out.

  6. STEP 6

    STEP 6

Serve the finished liver hot. Any potatoes, rice, pasta are suitable as a side dish. Bon appetit!

The recipe for “beef liver in the oven” interested me because of its simplicity. Instead of beef liver, I took pork liver and processed it. Coarsely chopped. Separately, I fried the onion in odorless oil. Placed the liver and onions in a baking dish. From the spices I added salt and pepper, as indicated in the recipe. Covered with foil and cooked in the oven for half an hour. Simple, fast, and most importantly delicious. The liver was perfectly cooked. It turned out soft and juicy. A sufficient amount of juice was released, which I poured over the boiled buckwheat when serving. The fried onions complemented the liver perfectly. Great recipe! Next time I will add more ground paprika and sprinkle the liver with ground nutmeg. I recommend it to everyone! Many thanks to the author!
