STEP 1
How to fry delicious beef liver in sour cream with onions and carrots? Prepare the necessary ingredients. It is better to take the liver chilled; it contains more vitamins and nutrients than frozen. When pressed, the liver should quickly return to its original shape. It is better to choose carrots that are not large, young and juicy. Wash the liver, remove film and fat if necessary. Cut the liver into small pieces or cubes.
STEP 2
Peel the onions and cut into cubes. To prevent the onion from stinging your eyes when slicing, rinse it and the knife with cold water.
STEP 3
Wash the carrots, peel and grate on a medium grater.
STEP 4
Heat the vegetable oil in a thick-bottomed frying pan or saucepan and fry the onion over medium heat until translucent. Add grated carrots to the onion and stir. Fry the vegetables together for about 7 minutes, stirring occasionally with a spatula.
STEP 5
Add beef liver to the vegetable frying and stir. Fry everything together over medium heat for about 10 minutes.
STEP 6
After 10 minutes, add sour cream to the liver with vegetables and stir. If the sour cream is thick and oily, add a small amount of water. Add salt and ground black pepper to taste. If desired, you can add any other seasonings. Stir, cover the pan with a lid and simmer for about 30 minutes. If the liquid has evaporated quickly, add a little more water. If the sour cream sauce turns out to be liquid, then the liver needs to be simmered a little in a frying pan without a lid.
STEP 7
Turn off the heat. Let the beef liver with onions and carrots brew for a while, then serve the yak. And we serve it to the table. Beef liver goes well with any side dish: porridge, mashed potatoes, pasta or stewed vegetables. Bon appetit!
