STEP 1
How to fry BBQ chicken wings on a grill? Prepare the necessary ingredients. Wash and dry the wings. The tip of the wing can be cut off if desired. There is practically no meat on it, so it will be very fried and may burn.
STEP 2
Cut the peeled and washed onion into large segments or half rings. Place the chopped onion in a large container, add a pinch of salt and squeeze it with your hands. This will allow the onion to better release its juice, which will soften the meat.
STEP 3
Add the wings and dry spices to the onion, shake everything with your hands again, not too hard, just so that the meat is evenly covered with spices and onion juice. Add coarsely chopped garlic if desired. Onions and garlic are cut coarsely so that they can be easily shaken off the wings; vegetables are not needed on the grill, as they will begin to burn.
STEP 4
Add a few lemon wedges if desired. But with lemon, you don’t need to leave the wings in the marinade for a long time, a couple of hours at most.
STEP 5
Prepare the marinade. To do this, add liquid honey, grainy mustard, and the juice of one lemon slice to the soy sauce. Lastly, pour in the vegetable oil. Mix everything thoroughly. Pour the resulting marinade over the wings and leave to marinate at room temperature for 1-1.5 hours; the wings marinate very quickly.
STEP 6
On the grill, create the necessary heat for frying the shish kebab. The coals should cool slightly and become covered with white-gray ash, then it will be the right moment to start frying. The wings can be threaded onto skewers and then evenly distributed over the surface of the smoldering coals.
STEP 7
You can place the wings on the grill grate. The wings should not be placed too close to each other. There should be a space of at least 0.5 centimeters between them so that the meat is fried evenly on all sides. Turning the meat periodically to prevent it from burning, bring it until golden brown and fully cooked.
STEP 8
Serve the wings directly on the skewers or on a platter with all the pieces of meat removed. Serve with your favorite meat sauce, washed fresh herbs and vegetables on the side, and red wine is a great drink. Bon appetit!
