Banana Sambuca
A light, airy dessert made from bananas like marshmallows. For this recipe you don’t need to bake and cool the apples, just peel the banana. The finished sambuca darkens, but remains a pleasant coffee color. Delicious with tea or juice.
Step-by-step preparation
Cooking time: 1 hr 30 mins
STEP 1
Pour gelatin with water and leave to swell according to instructions.
STEP 2
Melt gelatin in a water bath or in the microwave. It shouldn't boil, just dissolve.
STEP 3
Grind the banana, sugar and vanillin into a puree.
STEP 4
Add the white, avoiding the yolk.
STEP 5
Beat on high speed until light and bulky, 3-5 minutes. Without stopping whipping, pour in the gelatin and beat for another 1-2 minutes.
STEP 6
Pour into a bowl and place in the refrigerator for 30-40 minutes.
STEP 7
If desired, you can put part of the mass in the refrigerator for 15-20 minutes, put it in a pastry bag and make it beautiful.
