Apple mousse with semolina
Step-by-step preparation
STEP 1
How to make apple mousse with semolina? Prepare your food. Apples are suitable sweet or sweet and sour. Take the amount of sugar to taste, focusing on the taste of apples.
STEP 2
Wash the apples, remove the skin and core. Cut the apples randomly into not very large pieces.
STEP 3
Place the chopped apples in a saucepan, add water and bring to a boil. Cook apples over moderate heat until soft.
STEP 4
Remove the pan with apples from the stove and carefully, so as not to burn yourself, use an immersion blender to grind them to a smooth puree.
STEP 5
Add sugar to applesauce, stir and bring to a boil. Instead of sugar, you can use a sweetener that is not afraid of heat treatment. In this case, the mousse is also suitable for dietary nutrition.
STEP 6
Pour the semolina into the pan in a thin stream, while stirring the mixture so that no lumps form. Boil the semolina while stirring for about 5 minutes. If desired, you can add cinnamon.
STEP 7
Cool the apple mixture slightly to a moderately warm state. It shouldn't be too hot.
STEP 8
Beat the mixture with a mixer until fluffy and until it cools down completely. You can place the bowl in a larger container with cold water. As the water warms up, you need to change it back to cold.
STEP 9
During the beating process, the apple mass will lighten, increase in volume and turn into an airy mousse.
STEP 10
Place the finished mousse in bowls or bowls and cool so that the dessert acquires a more stable consistency. You can serve the mousse immediately without refrigeration. Bon appetit!
